Here are the some of the steps of my science fair. I am testing what music out of slow, calm tai-chi music and fast rock music is best for accuracy and speed when doing maths. I hope you like it.

Aim
What type of music is best for accuracy and speed when doing maths?

Hypothesis
I think slow tai-chi will be the best to work with because it is calmer than rock music. With slow tai-chi music, you should get more done and have more correct answers.

Apparatus
  • two lists of similar maths sums
  • slow tai-chi music
  • fast rock music
  • boom box (CD player)
  • timer
  • two people to test
Results
While the calm tai-chi music was playing, Mum and Dad completed 30 - 32 sums each with 100% accuracy. While the fast rock music was played, Mum and Dad completed only 14-22 sums each and both of them made mistakes.

Conclusion
My results have told me that my hypothesis is correct. My results support my hypothesis that slow music is best to work with. Both participants completed more sums and were 100% accurate with Tai-chi music. They were faster and more accurate with the calm music.

The calm music we played was by Ken Davies - his music is playing now with the slide show above. Below is the URL you can go to, to hear the rock music by the Foo Fighters which we played in our investigation.

My sketch of Edward

Me and my class have read a book called "Edward Tulane". This book has a motto and I am going to tell you about it.
"The heart breaks and breaks
and lives by breaking.
It is necessary to go
through dark and deeper dark
and not to turn."
When we finished the book we did a sketch of the tall, china rabbit, Edward Tulane and this is a picture of my sketch. It is the top one.

My favourite part of this story is when Abilene comes into the shop when she all grown up and buys Edward.
It is a great book!!!

My Dog

Here is a picture of Lady - my cute dog. Can you pick her out?

Father's Day

On Sunday (Father's Day) morning I went into dads room to give him his presents. He thought they where great!!!Then my family and I went to my beautiful Aunty's place for lunch and we had some yummy, homemade pizzas with one of my Grandads. Then I went to visit my other Grandad and my Great Grandad for dinner. It was one of the best fathers I had ever had!!!

My blogging

I had a blogging session with my mum today and it was really fun!!!

My Science investigation

For my science fair I am going to test what music out of fast rock music and slow Thai-Chai is best for accuracy when doing maths.I am guessing that slow Thai-Chai music will be the best for accuracy when doing maths.I am going to tell you how to do my science experiment!
Apparatas
*two lists of similar maths sums
*slow Thai-Chai music
*fast rock music
*boom box
*timer

Method
1. Find three people and give them twenty seconds to work on a list of maths sums with rock music on the boom box.
2. Now test the same people for twenty seconds with a similar maths sums playing the Thai-Chai music.
3. Put the volume of music at the same level for both tests.
4. Do this test at the same time each day.
5. look at the scores each person got on both tests and draw up a table showing your results.

I hope you enjoyed this experiment that I made!!!
