My sketch of Edward

Me and my class have read a book called "Edward Tulane". This book has a motto and I am going to tell you about it.
"The heart breaks and breaks
and lives by breaking.
It is necessary to go
through dark and deeper dark
and not to turn."
When we finished the book we did a sketch of the tall, china rabbit, Edward Tulane and this is a picture of my sketch. It is the top one.

My favourite part of this story is when Abilene comes into the shop when she all grown up and buys Edward.
It is a great book!!!

Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful book with us. It was wonderful to read it together as a class. I think that we all learnt some good lessons from this very special book. Your sketch is beautiful.
